Privacy notice

This notice explains how we use personal data collected through this website, clinkgames.com. It covers people who visit the site and people who register interest through the form.
If you use the Clink app, as a venue or as a guest playing at a venue, different notices apply. Venues can read ours at app.clinkgames.com/privacy. Guests should read the privacy notice linked from the venue’s game and discount code pages, because the venue looks after guest details.
Who we are
Clink Games is a trading name of Hiyield Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 11362053). We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect
When you register interest through the form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- the name of your venue or group
- your agreement for us to contact you about Clink
When you visit any page, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic technical details, such as your browser type, to deliver the page and protect the site from attack. See Who we share it with.
We don’t use analytics or advertising tools on this website, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about Clink. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
- To prepare an agreement, if you decide to sign up. We rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver and secure the website. We rely on our legitimate interests in running a website that works and stays safe.
We won’t add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to, and we never sell your data.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, delivers the form to us by email and protects the site from attack.
- Our email provider stores the enquiry emails we receive and the replies we send.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
We may also share data if the law requires us to, or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years after we last spoke to you, then delete them. If you become a customer, your details move into your account and our venue privacy notice applies instead. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will.
Cookies
We don’t set cookies on this website or store anything in your browser, so there’s no cookie banner. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) when it needs to check that traffic comes from a person. It holds no personal details and lasts no more than 30 minutes. The Clink app sets a few cookies of its own, which it lists at app.clinkgames.com/cookies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong or incomplete
- delete your data
- restrict how we use it, or object to our using it
- give you your data in a portable format
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. That doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To make a request, email privacy@clinkgames.com. We’ll reply within one month. There’s no charge.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We’ll update this page if anything changes and show the date of the latest version at the top.
